Mouthwash b4 or after brushing?

is it best to use mouthwash before brushing your teeth or after?
Answer:
After, read the bottle
After
After!!
XxX
After brushing
Always after.
I say after
Depends on the mouthwash. Read the label. I know some are specifically for before brushing, like the Listerine Whitening.
Great question!!I have always wondered which way was best. They dont say on the bottle!
Brush your teeth first, then use mouthwash.
I rinse after to get rid of any bits and to freshen my breath.
before
read the instructions
after brushing and flossing.it gets rid of all the nasty bad breath stuff that ur brushing and flossing didnt.
Use plaque remover mouthwash first, brush your teeth, then use regular mouthwash last. Good luck!
i always rinse after brushing, if your breath is that bad then do it before and after!!
Most people will say after, I use it before and after.
I've always thought that using mouthwash before helps to loosen the plaque before you brush.
i use it after to rinse anything that brushing missed and to give me that all over clean feeling in my mouth.hope this helps.
after for sure, when you brush you will take out alot of food and germs particles that are in your mouth, then when you mouthwash it alomost 100% of the germs wont be there
It is best to use mouthwash after brushing. It helps remove any loose particles left behind from brushing. I also recommend that you use a mouth wash with fluoride like ACT to help aid in cavity prevention.
Depends on the wash. There are Pre Brushing ones that help get more plauque off. I use the pre, brush, floss, then regular mouthwash. But that's me.
i always use it after to rinse away any bit from our teeth and then it keeps you nice a minty fresh
Most mouthwashes and rinses are for use after brushing. Why? Because brushing removes the ingredients in mouthwash from your teeth, reducing effectiveness. There are, however, dental rinses that one uses before brushing to loosen plaque and food particles.

I found that online

And also because mouthwash is meant to stay on for a certain amount of time like a breath mint, you should use it last. Brushing removes the minty taste and cleans it off of your tongue. The point of mouthwash is to stay on your tongue and give you good breath :DHope this helps you!
After, to get shut of any loose bits still hanging about. YUK
There are several prebrushing products on the market which claim to help remove stains, but mouthwash , itself, is designed to use afterwards. You can make a homemade version of Peroxyl, which is pricey, by mixing regular mouthwash[any brand] with an equal part of hydrogen peroxide. It's used after brushing. I don't think either is a substitute for gentle, thorough brushing with a soft tipped toothbrush and flossing, flossing, flossing. A little salt and baking soda will also help remove superficial stains. Smile!
You should always use it after. This helps you get the loose debris that you removed from brushing and flossing:)
You don't need to do either. Mouthwash is a waste, it is unnecessary. Brushing your teeth will keep them perfectly healthy and your breath fresh. There are some mouthwashes for particular oral problems, but if you don't have any of those then you don't need the stuff at all. Somebody invented mouthwash to make a lot of money that's all, then they created adverts/commercials to convince people that they need it. It's a con, you don't need it!
After, definately after! Not only will your teeth look cleaner, but it will also make your mouth feel fresh all day!
